Stole our deposit

We reserved a cottage for a summer holiday with friends in 2020, Covid prevented us from travelling, we all postponed, they rented the accommodations to others. Our friends obtained a refund the following year. Despite our phone call confirming our desire for a refund they kept our €600 and refused to talk to us further on the phone - apparently we had received an email and we’re given 10 days to respond, we didn’t so they profit. Appalling way to treat people. So be warned if you want/need to cancel, postpone or have any other issues with these owners
